The WunderKeys™ 30 minute one-on-one weekly lessons take preschoolers on a magical musical journey where they establish the keyboard awareness and rhythmic understanding needed for a successful future at the piano or any other instrument.

In a fun, encouraging and supportive environment, WunderKeys™ students are exposed to sorting, counting, grouping, more than/less than, patterning, subtraction, numerical awareness and more. The relationships between music and math are highlighted in a way that makes both subjects approachable and enjoyable. WunderKeys™ is a piano program, but the additional mathematical benefits shouldn’t be ignored. Give your child a head-start in music, math and life! We will also offer our Preschool Program in a new group class format starting in the fall of '22. PRIMER PROGRAM 6-8 years old Graduates of the Wunderkeys Preschool Piano series move on to the Wunderkeys Primer series before transitioning into Faber Piano Adventures and other methods. We believe this progression provides a strong, positive, fun foundation for future piano and other musical learning. Students are introduced to a modified staff, making music reading swift and natural! Other concepts are also taught in this scaffold approach such as dynamics, key tonality, articulation and rhythm. All skills are reinforced through fun off-the-bench activities such as theory games, composing activities, and more. |

🎻 STRINGS

VIOLIN / VIOLA / CELLO / BASS
5+ years old String students study a comprehensive curriculum of Suzuki, O'Connor, Kayser, Kreutzer, and others. Learn new positions and shifting, bowing techniques, and vibrato. Study different styles of music, including baroque, classical, fiddle, folk, rock and jazz. Students prepare solos for auditions and recitals/other performances. We prepare students prepare for:

ACOUSTIC GUITAR / UKULELE
Recommended for 5+ years old ELECTRIC GUITAR / BASS
Recommended after learning the basics on an acoustic instrument, 8+ years old For little fingers we recommend a nylon stringed instrument- ukulele or acoustic guitar. We make guitar and bass lessons fun and engaging for younger students by adding in games, exercises, and songs suited for young kids. Teenage lessons emphasize music reading, right/left hand procedure, and music theory. Students also learn how to play in multiple styles and develop tonal control through vibrato, bend and legato playing techniques. |

Drum instruction (on electric + acoustic kits!) includes age-appropriate rudimental studies, tablature and sight reading, linear drumming, and timekeeping under a broad range of musical genres.

🎤 VOICE

Vocal coaching is offered ALONGSIDE instrumental (Piano, Guitar or Ukulele) study. An instrumental foundation is key for theory, songwritinging, and intonation development. In addition to building a tailored performance repertoire, students review Solfège, sight-singing, breathing techniques, scales and arpeggios to develop range, tonal control and intonation.
